Stephen Seiler is a scientist, speaker, and communicator who has immeasurably aided in the pursuit of refining athletes. Over the last 15 years, Seiler has become internationally known for his research publications and lectures related to the organization of endurance training and intensity distribution. His work has influenced and catalyzed international research around training intensity distribution and the “polarized training model”. Dr. Seiler has published ~100 peer reviewed publications and written over 100 popular science articles related to exercise physiology and the training process. He is currently a Professor in Sport Science at University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. the same institution.

Samuele Marcora seeks to integrate exercise physiology with motivation psychology and cognitive neuroscience. This psychobiological approach has generated several innovative studies, including the effects of mental fatigue on endurance performance and brain training for endurance athletes. Having applied the findings to football and mountain biking, he now seeks to educate endurance athletes of all levels on how to win the physical challenge while overcoming the mental hurdles. When he is not working, Samuele enjoys taking motorbike trips across Central Asia, London, and Italy. Samuele received his PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Wales-Bangor (UK).

Co-founder of 80/20 Endurance, David Warden is an internationally recognized coach and author. His clients include World Age Group Duathlon champions, Guinness World Record triathlon holders, and multiple Ironman World Championship qualifiers. He is the co-author of Triathlon Science, the industry standard for triathlon coaches and academics and 80/20 Triathlon. His athletic resume includes 46 first place overall wins in triathlon and duathlon, including the 2x USAT Regional Sprint Triathlon Champion (2011, 2016). He has finished as the top American at the Mallorca 70.3, Abu Dhabi International Half, and Balearic Championships. David is every bit as handsome, but not nearly as tall, as the photo above suggests.

Matt’s writing also appears regularly in magazines and on websites such as Women’s Running and competitor.com. His online training plans have helped thousands of athletes of all experience and ability levels achieve their goals. Certified by the International Society of Sports Nutrition, Matt has consulted for numerous sports nutrition companies and he is the creator of the Diet Quality Score (DQS) smartphone app. A lifelong athlete, he speaks frequently at events throughout the United States and internationally.
